In looking for living relatives on my 2nd great grand mother Margaret Alice Clanton Barfield, I have three who are of the family of Samuel Clanton, one of Margaret's brothers. I am now looking for the children or grand children of Margaret's other siblings, or any one of the Clanton family who reside in the Hermitage- Warren area or anywhere at all. I am also extending my hand to any relation of Stephen Barfield's children and grand children who remained in the area after Margaret and her husband and children left the state for Oklahoma. So pretty much I'm hoping to fill in the blanks of everyone on both sides of the Barfiled's and Clanton's and those who married into the families. I have heard that there were Barfield's in are during the time of Ms. Dubose's mothers childhood, including a Ellen Lanora Barfield who died in 1911. But anything pertaining to Dock Barfield's family in the way of his brothers and uncles, sister and aunts is something that I don't know. I know nothing of what happened to any of his family except how he leads from Stephen down to me. I have the dates of birth for the other members of the Barfield house and that's all.
