William Taylor McMurry, aged 88, died in the local hospital June 10. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Effie McMurry of Banks, one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Armstrong of Banks; two brothers, L. H. McMurry of Banks and J. J. McMurry of Little Rock; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Dearman of Beaumont, Texas; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in McFarland Cemetery in Banks. Interment was is McFarland Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Willie T. McMurry, Edwin McMurry, Lee McMurry, Houston McMurry, Millard McMurry, and Haskill McMurry. Honorary pallbearers were Phate Sparks, Ray Jones, Chester Smith, G. W.
