Mrs. Maggie Hightower Johns, 92, died at her home at 601 Woodlawn Street, Friday. Born in Mer Rouge, La., she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include four sons, Ervin and Leonard Johns of Warren, Horace Johns of Orange, Texas and James Johns of Belleview, Fla., four daughters, Mrs. Verna Keener and Mrs. Lois Tullos of Warren, Mrs. Iva Rudeshelm of Memphis and Mrs. Alma Sands of Houston, TX; sixteen grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Hightower of Warren. Funeral was Sunday at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Thomas Sale and interment was in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robert Smith of Austin, Texas, Jim Tom Patton of Camden, Martin Johns of Pine Bluff, Andy Johns of Monticello, and Purman Temple and John Moss of Warren.
