    1. Re: [ARBRADLE] Elizabeth Bradley vs Elizabeth Thompson
    2. Dear Scott, Ok, here's the deal.. You see, Thomas B. St. John and wife Martha Moss Hicks MOVED from TROUP County to BRADLEY COUNTY, ARKANSAS... and as you might not know it was named after Hugh Bradley. Now I've had records listed in court house that James C. St. John married Elizabeth Thompson... also, another pioneer who went to Bradley County. I will take a look at your attachments, as well as send you an invite to _www.stantonstjohn.net_ (http://www.stantonstjohn.net) which is the family research for my family as well as my son and daughter's father's family. I don't know too much about James C St John except for the times he appeared near my Bradley ancestors. I do know that James C St. John lived in Jackson Co. GA from 1835-1837 and his taxes were paid by John Bradley, father of Mary Bradley Penticost and Johnson Bradley. I've included some tax notes in the attached file. Also, I'm sending the testimony of James C and Elizabeth St. John taken in Troup County GA in 1853. It is located in the Revolutionary Pension Records of William Pentecost. I'm sending the cover page (page 1) and their testimony (pages 5 and 6). They testified about the death of Mary Pentecost and testified that she was the widow of William Pentecost. My Bradley relatives from Jackson Co. GA were awful at getting their marriages recorded properly. Mary Bradley Pentecost's preacher testified that he married "Mary Pentecost, formerly Mary Bradley" to William Pentecost in 1829 in Jackson Co. GA. (It's note recorded either) So to answer your question, I don't have a "smoking gun", but there is a lot of smoke there. Let me know what you think, Scott Bradley ----- Original Message ----- From: _SweetKinfolk@aol.com_ (mailto:SweetKinfolk@aol.com) To: _tsbradley@tds.net_ (mailto:tsbradley@tds.net) Sent: Saturday, February 16, 2008 6:25 PM Subject: Elizabeth Bradley Hello Scott, I just checked some hints for James C. St. John and found that you believe that James C. St. John was married to Elizabeth Bradley. Do you know for certain that this information is correct, or basically what supporting documentation do you have to this information Carolann **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
