Ark Evangel Mar 29, 1983: Samuel B. Hall, Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock, in the 50th year of his age. Samuel B. Hall formerly of South Carolina, was born about July 3rd, 1833. Perhaps from 8 to 12 years ago he came to our State, and as stated above, he came to our town. About ten days previous to this writing, he was taken seriously ill and grew worse steadily until last Wednesday morning at near 1:30 o'clock, he sank into the cold shade of death. Mrs. Hall is a Baptist, and during her short stay here, won many friends among our people. The death of her husband fell like a dark show upon the soul of our sister, and Oh, how we did sympathize with her as we stood upon the verge of the grave, and consigned her husband, her protection- her all, to the grave. May God in his infinite mercy strengthen our bereaved sister, and in the days to come, as we press along the busy path of life, when we do pass the last resting place of the departed stranger, may we remember that he was all to the strucken heart that still bleeds from the heavy stroke.
