INDEX for Obituaries Appearing in The Eagle Democrat, Warren, Arkansas 1950-1959, Volume III, by Mary King Barrett, Parnell, J. E. (Luke) Age: 82 Publication: Nov 08, 1956. If Travis Bond Beard married Ollie Parnell (he did), then that would make Luke and Ollie Parnell brother and sister. Ollie one of 7 children I have listed for Joseph Marion Parnell and Sarah Jane Bryant according to my original family group sheets. Yet I don't have Luke listed - but Luke (1874) would fit between Mattie (1872) and Della (1878). I also, don't have his 2nd wife. Please help with corrections or additions. Michael, I have 10 children for Joseph Marion Parnell and Sarah Jane Bryant Parnell: Mattie, James E., Orra, Della, J. M. (1880 US Census, Bradley Co, AR p. 15 A); Ollie, William Troy (married my great aunt Jewell Campbell), Lillie Irene, (1900 US Census, Bradley Co, AR p. 340), and Carl and Burrell (tombstones in Moseley Cemetery: http://www.rootsweb.com/~arbradle/cemeteries/moseley.html.) The 1900 Census states she had 11 children and 9 are living at this time. I do not know who the 11th is. I hope this helps.
