Is anyone connected to Everett and Argie Williams Sims? I think they are both buried in Garrison Cem. I'm trying to figure out what Williams line she was connected to. I know that she and her sister, Ozelle Sims, were orphaned early in life and that Iva lived with Robert Sims (grandfather?) in Cleveland Co., and Ozelle lived with a Green family [listed as niece] in Bradley Co. Brenda Burkhart said Arthur Parker was married to an Iva Sims. I am most interested in the Williams connection. Thanks. Mrs. Iva Lee Benson, 64, of Iron Mountain, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 26 at St. Mary's Hospital, Ironton, Mo. She was the daughter of Everett Sims and Argie Williams Sims. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Albert Benson of Iron Mountain; two sons, Russell and Aaron Benson of Granite City, Ill., one daughter, Peggy Mae Finazzo of Granite City, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Ozelle Walton of Iron Mountain; and fifteen grandchildren. The funeral service was held Saturday, September 30 at Frazer's Chapel at 10:00 .a.m. The burial was in Garrison Cemetery with the Reverend Lee Moseley and Arvad Glenn officiating. Pallbearers were Eddie Finazzo, Freddie Finazzo, Cecil Carmical, Jimmy Williams, Jim Raney and Jack Gery.
