CARRIE BEA MURPHY, born in Warren, AR on October 11, 1929, passed away in Houston, TX on March 6, 2008. Carrie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Pinkie Murphy, Jr.; son, Timothy Pinkie Murphy and wife Cindy; daughter, Gale Elizabeth Thomas; son, Sean Patrick Murphy; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation, Saturday, March 8, 2008 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Services from 3:00-6:00 pm. Graveside service to be held in Alexander (Little Rock), Arkansas. Published in the Houston Chronicle on 3/8/2008. Carrie was the 5th daughter of Robert Lee Davidson and Lillie Mae Nolan Davidson of Warren.. Her sister, Charlotte Ouida Davidson Parham died last month in Ohio. Carrie was also preceded in death by sisters Retha Juanita Davidson Farris in 1984 and Robbie Lee Davidson Hall in 2004. Surviving are three sisters Edith Mae Davidson Mills of Little Rock, Veta Maxine Davidson Smith of California and Martha Jean Davidson Simone of New Jersey. The family asks that any remembrances be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Carrie.
