Brenda, the S.M. Davis (Seldon Mings Davis) you are inquiring about is a brother to my great-grandfather Paten B. Davis. S. M. apparently went into business with a Gannaway, the Druggist business, around 1888. He had studied medicine at the Knetucky School of Medicine for 1 year and practiced as a physicial at Hermitage, Bradley, AR until me moved to Warren in 1888. His only son was Aubeert Turner Davis who must be the the one you are referring to as being a druggist along with S.M. If you have a picture of these along with the picture of the Gannaway Drug Store I would reallly like to have a copy of it. If there is any other information you would like on S. M. and family I can provide that, at least what I have. Roddy L. There is veryb Little I know about Dr Campbell, I knew him as a veterian, and serviced Bradley County, around Warren, I first knew him In 1939, when my familt lived on the Blanking Ship Farm out on the Bradley road, once was the farm of Hough Bradley The foundy of Bradley County, he too lived out on the Bradley road, but near town, beside the old John Richardson place, which was then occpied by his son Grady Richardson, As for as I know he was the only Veterian in the area. I know he was around until 1950, because he services my uncle Stock that lived in Mount Olive at the toime! I was too young to give you any profile of him! Norris Bailey. -
Not sure, but could it be John Wesley Smith b. about 1850, son of Cephas Smith and brother of Benjamin Franklin Smith? B.F. Smith was my great grandfather and I know he had a brother John Wesley born about 1850, but I don't have any info on him. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bjw" <jann_woodard@yahoo.com> To: <ARBRADLE@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 20, 2007 2:28 PM Subject: [ARBRADLE] J. Hi, My grandfather Calvin Renfro Davis's first wife was Susan Jane Mann daughter of David Mann and Martha Jane Ashcraft. I am interested in this line, too, as I have cousins who are descendants of this marriage and I would like to help them. Any help would be appreciated. What happened to David Mann after 1870? Who did the other children marry? I have a little information on Nancy Mann which I would share. Thanks. Roddy L.
