    3. I'm gonna post this obit to the list because I think there are other Gorman researchers...and I have some questions about it. Mrs. Nancy Jane Gorman age 90, died at her home in Hampton September 23. Services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. and interment was made at the Antioch Baptist Church in Syrmenia [sic], Rev. W. W. Wagnon officiating. Pallbearers were Preston Mann, Hubert Savage, Vernon McGhee, Hugh Mann, Minor Mann and A. R. Bradley. Mrs. Gorman, who was born in Alabama, August 8, 1885, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lula Maxwell of Crossett, Mrs. Sarah McDaniel of Hampton and Mrs. Nancy Smith of Hermitage; two sons, Thomas and Calap [sic] Forrest, both of Warren; 68 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Eagle Dem. Sep 27, 1945 [the birthday of this lady must be wrong. At first I thought they were talking about the church at Smyrna [Syrmenia], but I'm not sure. I find no record of her burial in Bradley Co., perhaps Calhoun? In 1930 she was living with her son, Caleb Forrest. He was born about the time this obit says she was born. Very confusing.] yal Gorman <racecarfan1@suddenlink.net> wrote: I would like the obit for Nancy Jane Gorman. Please email me at: racecarfan1@suddenlink.net Thank you, Coyal M. I'm interested in Lester Stuart born about 1919 and died 1991 in Louisiana. He appears to be the son of Selvin and Winnie Stuart, but I have no proof of that other than the 1920 Marion Twp census. Jann Response. I am unfamiliar with the Louisiana part of it. But, there was a Winnie (Wolf) Stuart who was my grandmother's first cousin in the Johnsville area. (My late father identified her in a 1960 group snapshot.) I don't recall which surname she carried at the last. But, one of the daughters was a Whittingham (or some such) at the last and was one of the latest burials at Smyrna (in her 90s). I can't seem to locate the reference at this time. Winnie, Linnie, and Minne were daughters of John Lafayette (Fate) Wolf(e) (1871-1960) and Nancy (Nannie) A. Brown (1874-1905), and John was their son (his side notated Santuck).
