    1. [ARBRADLE] Garfield Doan in Bradley County
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Doan Done Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.bradley/3357/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm hoping someone can help with at least a little background on something. A Garfield Doan registered for the WWI draft in Warren in Bradley County in 1918. I believe him to be a John Garfield Done (it was generally spelled Done) from Kentucky and later Tennessee (I had him born March 1880 and the draft card lists March 1881). I can find no Doans of any spelling in any Bradley County census. His closest kin is listed as a Chelena Doan in Braxton, Simpson County, Miss.; I don't know who this might be but can also find no record of a Doan in that county. He was listed as a sawyer working for Bowman Crittenden, and he was listed as a woodcutter the last time I found him in the census (in 1900). If anyone knows who this might be, that would be spectacular, but if someone could give me some background on this area and the company he worked for, that might help, as he might have only been there briefly with this company. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    2. Looking for information on W.T. and Margaret Ann King Clanton. I know she was the daughter of Elias D. King and Amanda R. Douglass King. She was born 8-19-1854 in AL and died 9-22-1889 in Bradley County. The Bradley County website lists her obituary, and that is the only clues I have about her descendants and her husband. Wondered about her husband and kids. Anyone out there know anything? Thanks, Anne D.
