    3. Melissa, Here is another resource that person can try. http://history-sites.com/mb/cw/arcwmb/ Bryan Howerton that you'll also see linked to the Ed Gerdes civil war homepage has done alot of research on Arkansas civil war regiments. He can often name the people that go by initials on the civil war soldiers and sailors (but not always). I'll leave it to you if the site should be posted to the rootweb board as it is a civil war site not a site for general genealogical discussions (except as pertains to the civil war). It is fascinating reading though and there was a discussion within the last 4 months on some records at the national archives in DC that talked about a Union commander's records that recorded the names and *families* of all the slaves they freed on the way through Arkansas. 3. I am attempting to find information on where in Arkansas Henry Senn and his wife Nancy C. Senn are buried.I have been told it could be at Johnsville in Bradley County or in Drew County.Henry's mother-in-law, Celie Washam is also buried in one of those counties. Henry Senn b. 1825 SC can be found in the Randolph County GAGENWeb,Marriage records 1/9/1851 when he married Nancy C. Washam b. 1830,Geo.. This family can be found in the 1860 Union, Louisiana Census. Henry, wife Nancy, children, John Wesley, George Washington, Jefferson Layfette, TC and Celie Washam. I can pick part of this family up in the 1880 Marion,Bradley CO.Arkansas Census with John Wesley, his wife Mary J Stencil Senn b.1855,Ala. the 1st 5 of their children and John Wesley's grandmother Celie Washam. I am not able to find any members of this family from 1860 to 1880.?? I know that Henry and Nancy came into Arkansas and most likely are buried there.?Was Henry in the C.War??? Any help in obtaining this information would be appreciated. _________________________________________________________________ Don’t miss your chance to WIN $10,000 and other great prizes from Microsoft Office Live http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/aub0540003042mrt/direct/01/

Moore (1878-1965) and Amanda E. Moore (1885-1961) buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Warren, Bradley Co., AR. According to Oakland Cemetery Records of Warren, Arkansas (Bradley Co.), they have a double marker with DOM 11-23-1901. Is there someone who might be able to make a digital photo of the gravesite for me? Also, an obituary for both would be awesome...as I'm trying to trace my geneology back on my Mother's side... Samuel Russell died on 1-31-1892.I reread my message and saw my mistake. So far Samuel and his family are the only Russells that ended up in the El Dorado area. He had two sons and one daughter. One son moved to California but the other son, John, and daughter,Mary, lived in the El Dorado area. John had three sons with only one still living. This son retired to El Dorado after many years of living elsewhere, but has moved to Texas to be near his daughter. I have traced Henry Russell, another son of James C. Russell. He is listed on the 1870 census as 10 months old. He was living with Samuel Russell on the 1880 census. In fact I found him on every census through 1930. He spent most of his life in Pine Bluff, AR. Cecile Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. Just a note, I did not find Marion Cronin (or any variant) when searching the Arkansas Death Record Index for September 1949 either. It is possible the death did not get reported to the state.
