QC, Joseph-Emile-Henri-"Real" ARBOUR was the 15th of 20 children of Joseph-Avila ARBOUR and Pamela DEMERS. Yes, another couple managed to collect a brood of 20 children; however, fewer than half of them survived infancy to grow into adulthood. Perhaps this misfortune contributed to Real's own delay in marrying and starting a family. Real apparently had a close relationship with Marie-Therese-"Jeannine" TREMBLAY for several years. Their daughter Marie-Ginette-Natacha ARBOUR was born the day after Christmas in 1970. At the time, Real had a job wherein he laid parquet flooring. Real was nearly 40 and Jeannine 44 when they finally married on 28 January 1975, in Joliette City, QC. However, a long life together was not to be for this couple.
