Her parents likely would have had more children, but Napoleon died when Velma was just one-year old. After her father's death, Emma married James GARRITY. During the Depression, this blended family moved to mining country in northern Ontario. It was here that Velma married in Timmins, ON, on 16 February 1934, to James FELL. Velma and James had 4 children, 3 daughters and one son. James passed away sometime before 1996. Velma died between March 2000 and January 2003. It is unknown how many grandchildren they may have.
