Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, 17 July, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Saturday, 18 July, from 9 am until a memorial service at 10 am. Robert was a graduate of Catholic High School and LSU and worked for 34 years at Power Packing Corp. Preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Stone Arbour; parents, Sidney Vincent and Julia May Bahlinger Arbour; brother, J.B. and his wife, Katherine Arbour; sister, Gertie Lee Arbour McNeely; sister-in-law, Ann Wilbert Arbour; and brothers-in-law, Fred Hannaman Jr., Simon A. McNeely, and Ted Stephen Tomeny. He is survived by a brother, Sidney V. Arbour Jr.; and sisters, Katherine Hannaman, Sister Jane Louise Arbour, Virginia Tomeny, and Eloise and husband Roland Selig. He is also survived by his children, Michael Lee Arbour and wife Katy, of Dallas, Denise Arb! our Tebbe and husband Jim, of New Orleans, and Jeanne Arbour Favrot and husband Stephen, of Birmingham, AL; and 10 grandchildren, Sydney, Katherine, and Caroline Arbour, Trey, Sarah, and William Tebbe, and Elise, Reeves, David, and Stone Favrot. Robert will be missed by his family, but not by the many speckled trout that he did not have time to catch. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested for Catholic High School. Rosina's siblings were Peter, Wilfred, Earnest, Victoria, and Rosa. Three other siblings died in a house fire in Elk Lake Ontario when they were quite young. Sorry I can't help much with the Arbour side of the family. I met uncle Joe on numerous occasions and I'm certain I met some of his side of the family but I was a youngster at the time and the names didn't stick. BLAIS -- Prided himself on his skilled loom repair Epsom -- Oscar J. Blais , 85, of Pembroke, died Saturday, 19 Feb 2005, at Epsom Manor Skilled Nursing Facility after a long illness. He was born in Allenstown on 14 Feb 1920, the son of Aime Emile and Marie Olympe (Harbour) Blais. He was a resident of the Suncook area most of his life. He was employed as a loom fixer in the textile industry and worked for Textron and various local factories. He prided himself on being able to fix any type of loom in service during his working years. He loved gardening and tinkering with any type of machinery and was an excellent handyman. During WWII, he served stateside as a private in the 15th Machine Gun Company of the New Hampshire State Guard until discharged in 1946. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Paul Emile Blais; and his first wife, Florence Thompson. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald P. and Evelyn Blais of Center Barnstead; two granddaughters, Deborah Bachelder-Godin of Pittsfield, and Jacqueline Bla! ckwell of Center Barnstead; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille A. (Mrs. William) Edmunds and Anita F. Blais, both of Pembroke; two nieces and a nephew. Calling hours will not be held. Private graveside services and burial will be held in the spring in St John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.     3. Hello Listers! I am hoping someone can tell me more about the life and death of Robert ARBOUR (1925-1997). He reportedly died in Ste-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Deux Montagnes County, QC, in 1997. Robert was married to Lucille MARION (1926-1975). Does anyone have access to an obituary for Robert or Lucille? Thank you very much! Shannon

She leaves her son Malcolm Hudson Arbour and his wife Jane Wheaton Arbour of Shrewsbury. Also, grandchildren, Susan Moreno of Glendale, AZ, Bruce of Northboro, Keith of Cambridge, and Jane Pond of Northboro, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is survived by a brother, Warren Jacobson of West Boylston. Her brothers Raymond, Everett, and Merton predeceased her. Milly, as she was called, was employed for 22 years at Norton Company in the bookkeeping dept., retiring in 1969. She volunteered every week for 30 years for the Easter Seal of Worcester. Milly did beautiful needlework all her life, finishing a baby blanket for her soon to be second great-great-grandchild, two days before her passing. Sh! e was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Parish and of the parish Sodality of the Ladies of St Anne and the St Anne Guild. She was also a member of the Millbury Senior Center where she served as a lunch program volunteer for many years. An expert seamstress, she enjoyed sewing for family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting. Her funeral will be held on Friday, 6 March, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., with a Funeral Mass at 10 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 10 Waters St. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in St Brigid Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, 5 March, from 5 to 7 pm. Members of the St Anne Guild will meet in the funeral home at 6:30 pm to conduct a prayer service.
