Texas Bill The Bates have been a big problem for my research , but I just keep staggering around trying, my GG-Grandmother ( the mother of Charles Marion) was Mahala White ,daughter of Charlie White married a Reynolds after the death of her husband Charles Bates, I think you are probably having a good time with the many many Reynolds too.
