Beth, I've seen this before on other lists. The purported sender usually does NOT know it is going out at the instance of a "bug". That's why I cc'd Ms Schwab. I've seen her before and believe her to be legitimate. I put my virus program into high gear anyway. ron On 4/5/2012 5:26 PM, Beth DalPoas wrote: > Thanks Ron. These things have been going on for a LOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG. This is a hijacked Email Address Only, having nothing whatsoever to do with the owner of the address. If you could trace these things, you would find they originate overseas (Former Soviet Republic?). There is a standard watchword that has been out for even longer than this. "If it looks FISHY, IT IS FISHY". You should NEVER click on ANY link in an email unless you are 110% sure there is nothing suspicious. In other words, your were EXPECTING the email with that specific link. ANY email that does not have a Subject line is AUTOMATICALLY suspicious and I do not even look at the text but immediately relegate it to the trash.
