I have been in contact with the director of the Geographical Name Information System, a department of the Unites States Geographic Survey, and he enthusiastically endorsed that they be advised of geographical features, in this instance CEMETERIES only, that are not presently in the system. There is a form on the site that gives the information required. After they do a lookup on the information provided they with let you know if the particular site is to be listed or not along with the information on the site. If anyone would like to perform this service I would be happy to help them in any way I can or if anyone would provide me with the necessary information I will work with GNIS to have the cemetery listed.
