    2. Looking for Lucinda Brumbelow, daughter of John Brumbelow Jr & wife Louisa, b. ca 1842 Carroll Co. Arkansas. She was not listed with her parents on the 1860 Census for Hunt Co. Texas where the family moved in the late 1850's. It may be that she married ~ but whether in Carroll Co. Arkansas or Hunt Co. Tx is up for grabs. Carroll (Boone) Co, AR) married Rhoda Smith (b. 1798, TN - d. bef. 1860, prob Washington or Carroll (Boone), Co, AR) February 13, 1813, TN. Their line of migration was TN, IL, then Washington Co, AR (Marrs Hill Twp) by 1834. I know they were still there in 1853, but were in Jackson Twp, Carroll (Boone) Co, AR by 1860. Their children were: 1. Elizabeth (b. abt 1820), 2. Aaron S. (b. abt 1825, m. Sarah A. Edmiston), 3. Mary (b. abt 1828), 4. Rebecca (b. abt 1829, m. William W. Dearing), 5. Rhoda (b. abt 1831), 6.     3. Bad news --- the listing on the Boone web site is more current than what Mrs. Keeter has - she has NO Van Zants on her older list which was done in 1972 by the Home Demonstration Club then. I have a very close friend who was a Callahan and I believe her mother was a Van Zant(might not have that right)- anyway she is kin to the Van Zants some way or other. Her husband is the caretaker for Bellefonte Cemetery, BTW.
