I've been told that William may have married Charity after he migrated to Ga. Aft. 1736 Catherine Beller b. Aft. 1736 Leah Beller b. Aft. 1736 Lydy Beller b. Aft. 1736 Peter Beller b. 1737 is listed only as Peter Beller's b. 1710-1715 son; so assume that Peter b. 1737 is by another spouse than first wife Catherine. Peter b. 1710-1715 had a father Peter also and is: Peter Beller b. abt. 1685 in Switzerland ( some say Zurich, Switzerland, but research is ongoing. ) Jim hasn't been in contact with the researchers in a long time. Some may have stated Bern also as being the place they suspect the Byler's or etc came from, as they think the spelling was different in Switzerland. The Bellers were one of the founders of the old German religious town of "Germantown, Stokes Co. NC" but then moved on into Alabama when the sect started to break up, according to our info. Some of the sect are the ones to have started "Old Salem" North Carolina at Winston-Salem, NC. These were the Moravians. Jim's family of Bellers were considered to be Swiss Mennonites. That is all we have. Also the Hinson's I have were in North Carolina and I do have the info from there back into VA but nothing on them in AR or etc. Tina

The information that I have regarding my link to the Bellers is as follows: William C. Beller and Martha P. ? Wilburn were parents of William Berdine Beller b. Apr. 1857 in Crooked Creek, Carroll, Ark. m. Allace V. {Alvina) Trotter, 6th Feb, 1878 in Harrison, Boone, Ark. One of W. B. Beller's sons was Seab David Beller b. 11th Feb. 1882, Sebastian, Ark. m. Lula Lee Henson 27th April, 1902. Seab David was my great-grandfather, and David Edgar Beller was my grandfather. His daughter, Joy Waneen Beller is my mother. I knew the information about the Mountain Meadow Massacre , Beller's Stand and the Boone County connection, but I was unaware of the Marble Falls information. I have actually visited there and in current day Harrison many times, not knowing the connection to my family roots. I am also interested if you might have any more information on the Mother of Lula Lee Henson, Mary Wynn. I am trying to make the American Indian connection of my family, and I believe it might be on this side. Mary was born in June, 1857c. ??Ark. d. 12th Dec, 1944. Her ! father was William M. (Bill Wynn) and her mother was Martha, but I do not have a maiden name for her mother. Many of Mary Wynn's children were born in Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory from 1881 to 1892. This is all the information I have on her. Where do I go from here? Is William Beller b. 1799 the son of Eli Beller + Polly Campbell m. 19th of March, 1796 , whose father was Peter Beller d. 1828 ? the direct line to the Manervia Beller who married George Baker? Any one who is information on these lines I would appreciate hearing from . Thank you so much for your help. I would be very interested in the information you have on the Henson side, also.
The consensus seems to be that you all appreciate the gateway coming through me first so I will continue doing it this way FOR A TIME. I know I have a fine group of very smart folks on this list that understands by now that clicking on the link won't get you to the sender - only to the board. I also have used the html available to me on the Links and Announcement pages that prevents spammers from picking up my e-mail addy from that page with their spiders. It's ugly but it works so I don't think we will be bothered any more than usual with spam - anyway, Rootsweb's spam detective is very good at stopping it so none can come from Rootsweb. After a while - when things settle a bit more, I may open up the gateway completely and see what happens but for now I will be the filter. Thanks for your comments, folks, and happy hunting!!
