I am looking for anyone who has done research of my grandfather Alva Green. I know he had 11 brothers and sisters, some whom I knew, and his father and mother were Bert Green and Dora Deshields. Please contact me with any information you may have. Thank you Sharon Parker parkers41@cox.net
I am trying to find anyone who might be researching this person. On 28 August 1872 Mrs. Minerva PARKER married Evans BURT (Stephen Evan BURT) in Harrison, Boone, AR. She was a widow with one daughter about 4 whose name was Dora. Recently I received a letter stating her maiden name as SUMMERS. Three of Evans and Minerva's children were born in AR, 1873, 1875, 1877. They then went to Hill County TX where a daughter was born in 1879. They were back in Boone County in 1882 when another daughter was born. I have been told that when they went to TX again that Dora stayed in Boone County and eventially married a BROWN. She must have had family there because she would have only been about 14 years. Has anyone got access to obit records or know who I could write to to find out about Dora's family or Minerva's family of SUMMERS? Would appreciate any help. Carol in NW Oregon
Does anyone have information on how Long Creek came by it's name? Sue ssouth@astate.edu

There are 2 Edens children are buried in the Wagley Cemetery in Boone County, Arkansas. All the other (3) people who are buried in the Cemetery are Wagleys. I want to know if these Edens children are connected to the Wagleys who are my family. The Tippet child, Jessie who is buried in Wagley cemetery was the son of Nicholas Tippet and Augusta Billzora Wagley Tippet. The online information says his father was Napoleon and this is wrong. Louisa/Louise Van Bibber Wagley who is buried in the Wagley Cemetery was the grandmother of the child Jessie Tippet, she was his maternal grandmother. John F. Wagley who is buried in the Wagley Cemetery was actually Joseph F. Wagley. In the online information you will see the note that says he was killed in a cyclone and that he was buried in the Wagley Cemetery and later his body was moved to Maplewood Cemetery. The online information for Maplewood Cemetery does not list a John F. Wagley being buried there but it does have a Joseph Franklin who died in 1892. Joseph Franklin Wagley was the son of the Louise/Louisa VanBibber Wagley buried here. Notice that the Eden children died in the same cyclone as Joseph Franklin Wagley. I would also like any information I could get on the 1892 cyclone in Boone County. Thanks for any help. Phyllis Wagley Cemetery 1. Sandra - Nothing is known about M. Adeline Mitchell & J.A. Jackson other than their marriage date AND the fact that Adeline is not listed by any of her siblings in 1902 when they were applying for enrollment as Mississippi Choctaws ~ by then, the majority of her sib's & parents had moved into Indian Territory. I have a birth date of J.A. as 1863-1868, Adeline was born in 1869. What does your info have for James' birthdate? I sure would like to find more on this family. ~gina~ Subj: [ARBOONE] Re: ARBOONE-D Digest V02 #16 Date: 02/08/2002 5:13:12 PM Pacific Standard Time From: Shsandra@aol.com To: ARBOONE-L@rootsweb.com Is this James Andrew Jackson?
