Could anyone tell me if the new Boone Co marriage book has already been published? Are they mailing it out now or is it still in the publishing stage? Perhaps I had misunderstood, but I thought it was already being mailed out. I ordered one on June 13th , but have not received anything from them as yet. I mailed in my order. hello List- Iam trying to ;ocate death information on my ancestor Elton G or Elton J Saunders, He was living in 1930 and assume he was living when his father T C Saunders/ Sanders was living. The problem is. trying to locate his death event information. I have searched for a Elton Saunders, date of birth 1887 and cant find him on the SSDI, perhaps he was not the right age to be in the SSDI and aslso maybe foor some reason his was not filed, never the less I am at odds trying to locate his death event date and location. even though a cousin of sort recalls Elton died in Batavia, Is ther anyone that can look up in a old death book. a record of Batavia Deaths. if there is sort of one?? This is a hit and miss going after this particular ancestor. I have no way of findin g the information. Hello List- I am looking for my ancestor Elton G Sanders. son of T C and Nannie Sanders/ Saunders. Heard he possibly died in Bativia. looked at Sanders cementery and seems he is not buried there. I also heard that he possibly raised his sister Helens 4 sons, Helen was married to a John Mitchenger. her sons were born in Arkansas Elton had a brother named Ben F and another brother named Milton sisters Mariah and Helen . Eltons father T C died October 21,1939 and his step mother Dovie A Sanders died Jan16,1935. Elton was suppose to have born in 1877 Viola Ark. The LDS 1880 census for the entire USA is lots easier to read than microfilm and that's where I found this information. 1880 federal census for Jefferson Township, Boone Co. AR. Thomas Young aged 69 b TN parents b VA. Elizabeth wife aged 66 b TN parents b NC. Fanny Nevils dau widow aged 33 b AR parents b TN. Ida B Turney gdau aged 7 b AR father b TN mother b AR. William W Turney gson aged 5 b AR father b TN mother b AR. Elizabeth A Turney gdau aged 3 b AR father b TN mother b AR. According to "Marriage Records of Boone Co AR 1869-1916": Frances Young aged 24 m Boone Co AR 15 Oct 1871 Thomas M Turney aged 24. Apparently Thomas Turney died bef 1879 because 23 Nov 1879 Frances F Turney aged 30 of Bellefonte, Boone Co AR, married George M Nevils aged 37 of Harrison, Boone Co. AR. I've been unable to find a cemetery listing in Boone Co for Thomas Turney nor for George M Nevils nor for Frances (Young) (Turney) Nevils. Seems odd that Fanny married less than a year before she lists herself as a widow in 1880 - again.
