    3. As you can see by the title, Eddie, "Marriage Records of Boone Co AR 1869-1916" covers marriages to 1916. A marriage as recent as yours wouldn't be included. Usually the marriage record indicates nothing more than the names of the bride and groom, where they lived, how old they are, the County Marriage Book in which the record can be found, and the person who performed the ceremony. 3. The only Arnett marriage I find in "Marriage Records of Boone Co AR 1869-1916" is for an Andy J Arnett aged 22 of Western Grove, Newton Co AR, to Etta Randle aged 18 of Searcy Co AR on 19 May 1907. You might check both Newton Co AR www.rootsweb.com/~arnewton and Searcy Co AR http://bsd.pastracks.com/states/arkansas/searcy for the surname Arnett. 1. [ARBOONE] ENON Cemetery
    2. Sharon Fulton
    3. Can anyone tell me a bit about the history of the Enon Cemetery? It shows the following listing: No. 38. A. J. Brown 7 Mar 1833 - 11 Feb 1863. Does anyone know anything about this particular Brown? Is ENON Cemetery anywhere near to either Lead Hill,in Boone Co, or near to Cedar Creek, in Taney Co, MO? I suspect that he could "maybe" be my 2nd great grandfather. Would any wills or probate records exist for him in Boone Co? Or were they all destroyed by fire? What about Tax rolls? I checked all of the Cemeteries listed online for Boone Co, but did not - Alas, find my Laura MANUS RICE. I suspect she died about Sep 1886, Nor did I find her husband W. T. RICE. 3. Can't answer all your questions, Sharon, but I suggest you go to www.familysearch.org, which is the 1880 census for the entire US, to check on W T Rice and his parents and siblings. I'd also suggest you go to www.rootsweb.com/~arboone to check out their online cemeteries - which are *searchable* <BG> - for the death and burial of Laura (Manes) Rice. I agree, the Boone Co Genealogical Society has provided a much needed and long awaited research source for Boone Co. They've worked long and hard on this book and deserve all the thanks there is. It's a real boon to researchers (pardon the pun - g). Finally, after many years of searching I found my Laura MANES/MANUS husband's name and the father of Isaac M RICE, their son!! Now I just need to find out about the Rice family in the Lead Hill area. W. T. RICE 25, of Lead Hill m. Laura MANUS 19 of Lead Hill, 24 Dec 1885. So, I think this would make W. T. RICE b. abt 1860. I think he had siblings there in Lead Hill also. Does anyone know about this family of RICE, where they were b. parents? Poor Laura d. in childbirth bef Dec 1886. Their son Isaac M Rice survived. Where did his father go? Who raised Isaac? Does anyone know where Laura MANUS RICE was buried? Thank you BCGS & any who know something of this W. T. RICE family. Sharon Fulton texsam@cox.net Scottsdale, AZ currently 107 degrees
