I have John Cheek of Ozone, Johnson Co., Ark. Married to Julie Skaggs. They had one child William Cheek. After John Cheek died Julie married Flemming Watson which they had several children. William Cheek married Mary Ann Griffin, daughter of Daniel Boone Griffin & Malie Sea. Will & Mary Cheek died in the 1970's & are buried in Harrison, Boone Co. I don't have any info of John Cheek other than he was from Ozone. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I hope this helps someone: My paternal grandmother was Ella Ruth Campbell. She married Edgar Davis Trammell in 1910. Ella was born in Boone CO. AR 29 Jul 1890 and died 18 Apr 1962 in Beaumont, CA. The following records are from Ella's family members (I don't know if they are accurate). The record shows Ella having 4 full-siblings: Frances Lucrisey(?), Lorena, Lafayette(1894/1971), and Mamie (Mammy?). Ella also had 7 "half-siblings". Ella's father was Bailey P.(John)Campbell (2-10-1848 to 1-7-1911)and her mother was Martha Elizabeth McIntyre(?)(1861-1899). Bailey(John)P. Campbell also had an earlier family with his first wife "Jane(?)". They had 7 children: Sara, Mary, James and Charley (Twins?), Mertel, Franklin, and Susan. Edgar Davis Trammell's Father was John Wesley Trammell(1869-1950) his wife on our record is Elizabeth Ann Horn(1869-1930). He married - MARGARET A. WALKER, daughter of Wesley and Axcy WALKER. She was b. 1 Oct 1845 in Monroe Co., AR; d. 6 Nov 1928 in Hill Top, Boone Co., Arkansas. (They are both buried in the Hill Top Cemetery, Hill Top, Boone Co., AR. His grave shows he was a Confederate Soldier.) Their children were: (1) Mary Frances Downs WILLIAMS, b. 31 Oct 1861, d. 6 Sep 1947 in Hill Top, Boone Co., AR; m. Irvin BELLER and W. R.
