Sylvester went by several names, Austin, Pert and Vester, was married to Mary (dob abt 1860), children John Thomas (dob abt 1879,Tom married Maud), Ida and Alvia. Some of the family returned to Springfield, MO after 1915 but I believe Sylvester and his brother remained in Boone county. I haven't been able to determine when Sylvester died or where he is buried. Anyone researching this Ferguson family? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My Grandfather William (Billy) Anderson Harmon b 1866 married first Sarah Elizabeth Martin b 1866, married 1887 Boone cty and it stated both were 20. They had five children. When he married my grandmother after Sarah's death propably in childbirth, it was on the 12 Sept1901, they brought all five children from a few months to early teen or preteen and left AR. He then had five more children, one dying at 3 mos, and my mother being the youngest of those five. I know all the children from the first marriage came with them to Oklahoma terr. I've seen Martin mentioned from time to time and wondered if anyone of those Martins has a Sarah Elizabeth Martin that they did or didn't know what happened to. Thanks, Judy

No one here seems to be able to help me out with information on Chester Atchison/Actkinson. I've hit so many head ends that I'm getting a head ache from it all. I don't believe there are any decendents left here in Seminole, OK to help me out with this gentleman....it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack. But with him being buried in the Muskogee/Tallaquah area, it's likely he had family there - as his wife is buried here. Maybe someone out there has the link we're all searching for. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance... Sincerely, Denise aka "dneesee" (now "dwisley") Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hi Carol, I think I can help with some of our research. I've found an article in the local history book with pictures of William and Sallie. Also a few other things. Please email me at your convenience and I'll see what else I can find for you.
