    3. Thanks for the offer. I've kinda got it narrowed down based on information you and others have submitted. Looking at the modern map, you can find the railroad. 3. According to DeLorme's Atlas and Gazetteer for AR, Self is on the railroad line between Omaha, Boone Co AR and Bergman, Boone Co. AR on a diagonal line with Omaha to the northwest and Bergman to the southeast. The initials for the railroad are MINA which appears to begin in Hollister MO. Self probably won't be on any road maps. 3. Sue, it shows on the map to be on Dubuque Rd about halfway between Bergman and Omaha. I believe to get there you would take Cottonwood Rd. north out of Harrison and then turn right - NE - toward Self. Looks to be on a railroad that is probably defunct now but I don't know about that. 3. Looking at a WWI Draft Registration Card, for the address the city is listed as Self, Boone, Ark. When I first looked at it, I thought maybe "self" was referring to himself. I thought this was probably true because the Occupation listed "Farmer" Employer listed "For Self". But then looking at the card further, the nearest relative's address (his wife) is listed as Self, Boone, Ark....Self is always capitalized. I have not been able to find Self on the map. Also there was a recent movie, called September Dawn, that is also on DVD and can be bought at Amazon.com. I have several family members killed in the massacre and enjoyed visting Harrison, ARK and seeing the fields they gathered at and left from. 1. [ARBOONE] Tracy Hayes & Darcy Hayes
    2. Sue
    3. Requesting the obituary for Tracy Hayes and related news stories. From the SSDI, Tracy was born 18 Dec 1967, d. 27 Jan 2006. The story from family members who knew enough to give me leads, but not enough for providing factual information, is that Tracy was missing for over a year. Her body was found in a field. They did not know the outcome of the investigation. Based on the story and the date of the death, I'm guessing the body was found in 2007. Tracy also had a sister Darcy Hayes who had been married a couple of times. Darcy was killed in a car wreck. I do not know the names of the husbands or information on the dates of birth/death. If anyone has information on Darcy, I'd appreciate your help. Tracy and Darcy are the daughters of the Carolyn Hayes on whom I have also requested an obit. Any help would be appreciated. Sue
