I was in SLC at the Family History Library last month doing research and I went thru Obits from Benton Co and Obits from Washington Co, looking (unsuccessfully) for a Jewell Floyd, b. 1907-died bet. 1910 census and abt 1916. She was the daughter of Joseph Floyd and Anna Corn and ws my mother's younger sister. There may also have been another child who died in beween census's. I've not found any record of their deaths. However, I did find the obit of my gr grandfather, Samuel H. Corn in the Obits from Washington Co. and now know he died at home from pnuemonia, and lived 6 miles from Siloam Springs. I also found my gr grandmother Louisa, listed only as Mrs Corn, in the Benton Co Obits. Obviously, it's a good idea to check both counties. The Corn's lived in Benton Co. FYI. Siloam Springs is all most on the County Line between Washington and Benton Counties. From Siloam Springs, to shop or large Hospital, it is closer to go to Washington Co.
