Dear Mr. Smiley: I wasn't or meaning anything negative of Mr. Raymond Jeffries. We had personally met him in about 1992 or 93 in Bentonville and he did do a lot of good work for us! I was told that he had passed away the last time we had gone through Bentonville a couple of years ago. So were there newspapers during that time? Thanks for any help you can give me. Raymond Jefferies died October 29, 2001 and is buried at Tuck's Chapel. Mr. Jefferies was using the Bentonville library for his research. That library in 2001 had very limited collection of newspapers. ==== ARBENTON Mailing List ==== NOTICE: Posting of virus warnings, test messages, chain letters, political announcements, current events, items for sale, personal messages, flames, etc. (in other words - spam) is NOT ALLOWED and will be grounds for removal.
