Hi, Anyone out there connected to James DAVIS born 1832 in Hawkins Co TN? He married Mary Ella MARTIN 1867 in Lee Co VA. Mary Ella was born 1844 and was the daughter of Daniel MARTIN of Lee Co VA. James and Mary Ella (MARTIN) DAVIS are in Lee Co VA on 1870 census, in Benton Co AR after that. They are both buried in the Lee Cemetery, Benton Co AR. My interest is mainly the MARTIN family. William D MARTIN, born 1865 traveled with James and Mary Ella from Lee Co VA to AR, but William stayed in Charleston, Franklin Co AR. William's father, Andrew MARTIN, is related to Daniel MARTIN. My guess is they are brothers. There might be another brother named Thomas. Additions and corrections are always welcome.
