Rich was married to a Lancaster relative of mine. Elizabeth was born 20 Jul 1813 in Brush Creek, Smith Co., TN and died in 1890 in Benton Co.,Ark. She married WP Rich about 1827 in Smith County, TN. They apparently moved around quite a bit, as their 10 children were born in 6 different states. The 1860 Census for Flint, Benton County, Ark. shows their names and ages as: John, 25, TN; Samuel, 22, KY; William, 20, TN; Timothy, 17, MD; Allen, 14, KY; Mary, 12, ARK; Clinton, 11, MO; Virginia, 7, MO; Tennessee, 5, TX; and Philip, 1, ARK. I have just started doing intensive research on the Lancaster side of the family, and will be happy to share any and all info....
