    1. Re: Robinson/Robison, AR 1910 census
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Phillips, Clark, Wilber, Wells, Brown, Clark, Noblitt, Whinery, Evans, Tate, Lockhart Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5U.2ADI/3011.2.1.1 Message Board Post: No, I don't know of any connections with those names. My family who had land there were the Wilber and Wells family. This would have been the family of John & Martha Wilber, their son Charles and his wife Rebecca Lockhart. Charles died in 1901, though and Rebecca remarried to a Mr. Gill from nearby. The children of Charles and Rebecca Wilber went to live with their grandparents, John & Martha Wilber, growing up in the Robinson, Wheeler, Marrs Hill areas. My grandfather John M. Wilber and his wife Lily Pearl Wells Wilber ran a grocery store in Wheeling for a time. The Wells family was that of William David Wells, who married Orena (Rena) Rhine in 1899 in that area of Washington County. His parents were John Wells and Alpha E. F. Tate. William David Wells married Orena Rhine, and it was one of their daughters -- Lilly Pearl Wells -- who married John Mitchell Wilber (son of Charles and Rebecca Wilber). So my relatives in the Robinson area and nearby areas are Wilber, Wells, Tate, Rhine, Gill, Lockhart, Walker, and Whinery.
