Hays, son of John and Lydia Sims Hayes, in Goodspeed's 1889 History of Benton County. No other siblings are mentioned Pg. 530, Benton County History Book published in 1993, gives the history of Rebecca L. Vaughn Hays, which also mentions Albert (Ab) Hays born in 1884. She married William G.Hays, the son of Fanny and John M. Hays. There is no early history for the Hays family in this book. Nancy
