Some months ago there was a thread on access to family cemeteries that are located on land now owned by non-family people. Someone cited the way the AR law read concerning this. At the time it did not affect me; I read it, found it very interesting, stored it in my memory (forgetful as it is) as a great article, and deleted it. This issue has come up for a friend and the research she is trying to do. When she was telling me about it, the "dust bunnies in the attic" got stirred around some. The owner of the land has cattle and doesn't want them getting out or being harmed; very understandable. He is very difficult to contact and obtain access to the cemetery. He would rather not allow anyone to visit the cemetery, located in the middle of a pasture, but grudgingly does so if you can catch him. If someone still has this info, please send it to me.
