Dear List, I have a Confederate Soldier Ancestor. He lived in Benton and Searcy Co.s in Arkansas. He served in both Missouri and Arkansas units on the Confederate side. Family ledgend says he died in Florida and is buried in KEY WEST, FLORIDA. I have written to Monroe county Historical Society and have looked on the US Gen Web sites etc. and can not find his grave location there. Can anyone give me more ideas of how to locate his grave? His name is James Muire and was married to Mary Ellen Hand on 3 Aug. 1884 in Baxter Co., Arkansas. He died before Octpber of 1893 when his widow remarried. They had a son named James Clyde Muire born in Arkansas, October 5th 1886. Their son James Clyde Muire died on 5th of May1905 and is buried in Oakes Cemetery in BENTONVILLE. ARKANSAS. Any suggestions are welcome. Taunji Waterman Gresham, Oregon
