Hello Nana I have no information on opdyke, sorry But was wondering if by chance you have Chambers in your family tree? Back in the 1940's a Dewey Chambers married my Grandmother Helen Irene (Pearl) Harris nee McCullough--- I am not sure if she had another marriage between her first and Dewey. Anyway from the California Death records: Dewey Chambers died 29 Oct 1951 in Fresno, California; on the record it lists his birth place as Arkansas, and his Mother's maiden name as Lunsford..
