Is there a way to copy information from cd's (Adobe Reader Format) into the e-mails? I've tried copy & paste, that doesn't work. Am I missing something (a step/steps) here? If you have other Adobe software, will they allow better access to the information? I have the Obit of Benton County cd and have ordered the History of Benton County cd, both are in Adobe (reader) format. I also have other cd's not related to Benton Co. To help with inquiries for information that may be listed on our list serve, I've had to re-type the information. I always have a concern of a typo being present, which makes the text invalid. There is also the time involved in re-typing the information into an e-mail. Some sort of "copy" rountine would make this a lot faster. Sue, I am a DAVIDSON. Of course, it is a common name with many lines. My particular Davidsons I've traced back to Alabama and I believe my John Davidson was perhaps in TN, then NC, then SC before settling in Alabama. His son, James was father to William Patton Davidson, who was my great-great grandfather and was in Noxubee, Miss. when he died. His widow (who had remarried to a Sullins) came to Texas along with William Patton's two sons, William Maxfield and James John, and daughter America. They settled in Van Zandt Co., Texas. Do you think we are of the same lineage? Thanks, Pat Davidson James ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Southard" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 19, 2005 7:56 AM Subject: [ARBENTON] Question to the Techies > Is there a way to copy information from cd's (Adobe Reader Format) into > the e-mails? I don't know if attachments are allowed on the mailing list, but you could always attach the .PDF files to individual e-mails (depending, of course, on copyright laws/agreements relative to the material you intend to copy). -----Original Message----- From: Sue Southard <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, 19 Sep 2005 08:56:05 -0500 Subject: [ARBENTON] Question to the Techies Is there a way to copy information from cd's (Adobe Reader Format) into the e-mails?
