I'm hoping to find information concerning the deaths of Jacob and Ellen Francis Ash. They are both buried in Union Chapel, (Ruddick Cemetery) in Benton County. I sent to Vital records and both applications were returned, with the explanation that they only have death records for Pulaski and Sebastian counties prior to 1914. That would explain Ellen, who died in 1904, but not Jacob who died in 1929. I guess I am looking for death records for Benton County prior to 1930. Also where obituaries may be found.
