I do know that there were at least two groups of Davidsons in NW Arkansas at that time. One group was of English heritage the other was from Scotland. Ours were from Scotland. The English group should be easier to track since several of that family were prominent in the community. I'll dig out some records from the paper files and see if I can find anything of help to you.
