Peggy -----Original Message----- From: Wilma J.Fields [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 10:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ARBENTON] Regarding Obit Look-ups! I spent almost 6 hours in Fayetteville & about an hour in Springdale today, and only found three requests of some 15. There are some other places to look, but all the Washington Co. Library had were obits from the Northwest Arkansas Times, and very few from the old Fayetteville Daily Democrat. Most of the requests were not found in those two papers. The Springdale Library had a problem with their printer, so I had to give that search up for today. I will be in Benton Co. searching some things tomorrow, so will see if I have any luck there on some of these. Most of the requests were either earlier than the Benton Co. Obituary books, or later, and some were for obits that fell between them and the Nov. 2004 to present obits I have. Any future requests must fall within these dates. For other obituary information, the Morning News does have an Archive on-line in .pdf format, from Sept. 1999 - the present time. These are searchable by date, not by name.
