The excerpt below from the Cotter newspaper...........listing the death of Mrs. Tom Smith.............is part of the Smiths that I research. I am curious as to if Mr. Tom Smith (widower) was the one that married May Pohshell; following the death of her engineer husband? Mrs. Tom Smith was the former Elizabeth C. "Betty" Ball. My Sinors intermarried with some of their children. Nov 3, 1916 Issue-Cotter Courier Mrs. Tom Smith died Oct. 23 at Ellington, Missouri Baxter Bulletin issue December 3, 1915, Harry Pohshell one of four people killed when a 50-ton boulder came rolling down the mountain and hit the Engine Monday (he was the Engineer) (Cotter). December 8, 1916 Cotter Courier: Married - Mr. Smith to Mrs. May Pohshell (they have it Possehl). Thought it worth a shot. Kathy? Did Tom Smith remarry following the death of his wife in 1916? Maybe?
