Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, AR Passed Away: 06/22/05 Publication Date: 06/25/05 Alyne M. Anderson, 75, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005. She was born Jan. 7, 1930, at Babylon, N.Y., to Clifford Eugene "Gene" and Ethel R. Cramond Smith. She moved to this area in 1945 from Corpus Christi, Texas, and married Robert Virdo Anderson at Hocomo, Mo., June 12, 1949. A homemaker, Mrs. Anderson was a faithful member of College and North Church of Christ where she attended the ladies' Tuesday class. She is survived by her husband, Robert Virdo Anderson of the home; four brothers, Darrell "Champ" and James Smith, both of West Plains, Mo., Duane Smith of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Hardy Smith of Farmington, Mo.; two sisters, Florene "Peach" Roberson of West Plains; and Zelma Kay Birckelbaw of Freeport, Ill.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Zola Rae Smith and Omera Smith. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. today at College and North Church of Christ with a funeral at 2 p.m. at the church. Bro. Bill Dillon and Bro. Ken Burton will officiate. Interment will be at Hawkins Ridge Cemetery near Bakersfield, Mo. Pallbearers will be Wesley and Alan Henderson, Johnny Morgeson, Brad Ford, David Birckelbaw, Danny Roberson and Delbert Smith.
