Vera and Annis Something kind of interesting here. Edd Fields - the son in the 1930 census; aged 18? He evidently was married to a Beulah Mae Cockrum. I don't any date or her age or anything like that. But, just her name. So, I may have just made it up. (not really.............) Beulah Cockrum's parents were James Briant Cockrum, Jr. and one of his many wives - named Sallie Rider Whitekiller. Sallie was a full blood, I think. Died in Claremore - (my birthplace) - which is the old Cooweescoowee Cherokee District. Sallie died there in 1919 and at some point, her Cockrum husband returned to the Izard Co. area - because I show his death as being in 1950 and he's buried there at Custer-Herron. I have often wondered how he connected to the James Cockrum that was Patsy Green Moulder's second husband. These folks must have been all around my Smiths - because they're all reburied there at the Custer-Herron. Lewis Smith (found in the 1910 Fields home of Bob Fields and Maude Moulder) had a brother named Bill Smith (b1898). Bill was married to a May Cockrum - as Vera knows. Sooooo..................more connections than I thought, right? Bernie Moore-Knowles Phoenix, Arizona - Papa'aloa, Hawai'i "I have Indian blood in me.
