    3. Peggy I was not aware of the Hughes and Luster connections at all. So, wonderful of you to post it all. But, I have been a bit confused on the Hughes families of Baxter Co. It appears that James Hughes may have had a brother that migrated there, also? Note: See Mary Hughes in this census. What do you think? It was confusing to me because there were two John W. Hughes in Baxter Co. in the same time frame - both born circa 1871. 1880 Census Place: Crawford, Washington, Arkansas Source: FHL Film 1254058 National Archives Film T9-0058 Page 644C Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace Joseph HUGHES Self M M W 32 NC Occ: Farmer Fa: NC Mo: NC Eliza HUGHES Wife F M W 28 AR Occ: Keep House Fa: NC Mo: NC George C. Hughes that married my Curtis Sinor was the son of James Franklin Hughes and Vesta "Vestie" Evans; I BELIEVE it was per an obituary. It may well be that Vesta was a step-mother though? There were some Hughes family photographs that were shared with me last year. In them, was what appeared to be a marriage day photograph of a Zula Sinor and Jim Hughes. I naturally thought that Curtis Sinor's sister; Zula must have married a brother to John Hughes and his name was Jim Hughes. But, was Jim Hughes a cousin or a brother? What do you make of it? LUSTER married in Baxter County on 7 February 1899. It appears she is sister of John W. HUGHES, husband of Curtis "Curtie" SINOR, in 1910 census posted today. John W. HUGHES and Mary {HUGHES} are shown as born in Missouri; their father born in Illinois and mother in Missouri. > > Series: T624 / Roll: 43 / Page: 98 > 1910 Census - Baxter County, Arkansas > Union Township > Supervisor's District No. 5 > Enumeration District No. 8 > Sheet 15B > 13 May 1910 by Fritz N.
