Surnames: Baxter, Pou Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4U.2ADI/2020 Message Board Post: For a few years now I have posted to on all the genealogy boards to find the parents of my great (4 times) grandmother, but as yet I have not found an answer. I know she belonged to some Baxter family, but I have just about given up ever finding that family. I have to give it one more chance, so if anyone has any ideas as to where I can find an answer, Please e-mail. Her name as I have it was ANN BAXTER, however, through the years I have wondered if ANN was a nick name for something ealse. She was born in 1756 in I beleave S.C., but there to I may be wrong also. She was married in 1775 to William Pou, sometimes spelled Pow, On September 1777 in Orangeburg district S.C., she passed away at the birth of her first child (my great (3 times)grandfather William Pou Jr. I really need help on this one.
