    3. Vera You know, I bet that Sinor researchers saw that 1910 census record that you just posted and transcibed that wife's name as Clair - when it really was his one and only wife; Ealer Denney. I bet there never was a Clair - and you can see where that 1910 census shows that both James and his wife have only been married once? My records show that Ealy and James were married on June 22, 1902 and that would certainly match up with the seven year marriage for them both in 1910. Great help, Vera. Great, great help. 3. The Claire *may* have come from the Custer-Herron Cemetery survey (online), shows her as Claire (wife of James W.), 1870 - 1940. ??? Peggy

    3. The reason I question: the old stones are so hard to read and also the survey used in the book of Grave Importance doesn't show any dates for her or James. If their names are on the Corp of Engineer's list I didn't see them. Sooo when were the stones placed there and when were the dates put there? > The Claire *may* have come from the Custer-Herron Cemetery survey > (online), shows her as Claire (wife of James W.), 1870 - 1940. ??? > > Peggy
