    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: CROWL - HULSEY - KING Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4U.2ADI/1413.1.2 Message Board Post: Hello, Cousin Jimmy! I interviewed your grandfather Elmer Franklin CROWL in the 1980s. I am related to you through his wife Eva Stella HULSEY. Her grandfather, Alfred Joseph HULSEY (m. 1st Eliza / Louiza KING), and my great-grandmother Elizabeth "Betty" HULSEY (m. William "Jeems" KING), were siblings. Their sister, Margaret "Peggy" HULSEY (m. James "Buck" KING). Have two other marriages for Alfred Joseph HULSEY. Your mother and father were present when my mother and I visited your grandparents. Sorry to learn of your mother's death. At the time, I passed information to Jo Ann Frances {CROWL} CARTER and her daughter. Kept in touch with her daughter in Tulsa for some time -- and thought they were working on your family. Your grandfather told me he was born 5 May 1900 in Midland, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. And, you have his parents names: William Wesley CROWL (1864 - 1926) and Jenny Elizabeth COOPER. No statistics for Jenny. I have that WWC was buried at the Covey Cemetery. Not sure where you are, but I only moved from Tulsa to Fort Worth area last year -- and the Covey Cemetery is around Turkey Mountain, between Tulsa and Jenks. I know that a few years ago, families of people buried there were having a "big fight" and Darla HALL, former City Council member in Tulsa -- but with insurance company on South Union was involved. I have dates of birth for siblings of your grandfather -- if you don't have them. I have story I wrote about him, as he showed me a gunstock he had restored (?). It was beautifully done. Most of my hard copies for genealogy are in storage -- which I hope to remedy within next few months. You are welcome to stay in touch with me. Can you tell me why you're looking in Baxter County for the CROWLs? The Oklahoma 1900 census should direct you to the states of birth for William Wesley CROWL and Jenny Elizabeth {COOPER} CROWL. I'll try to help any way I can. Peggy {King} Truesdell Oak Timbers Apt. 801 8401 Tumbleweed Trail White Settlement, TX 76108-3495 (817) 246-0415
