Lawrence 20 Both from Big Flat Since Big Flat is in the very southern part of Baxter County in the part were a few miles in one direction you're in Stone County and in the other you will be in Searcy County. There are Cemeteries in both those counties near Big Flat. I did check the books I have on Baxter and Searcy County but I don't have one on Stone County. Didn't find them in the latest up-date of Big Flat Cemetery either. Searcy County marriage I found this one don't know how it fits. Dollie Ticer 17 of Big Flat m. 30 Aug 1896 J. J. Vera > My grandparents lived many years in Baxter County in the 1800's. Grandmother, Mary Jane NORMAN was born in Baxter County 20 Oct 1863 to Green H. NORMAN and Eliza ROSEN. She was married to Christopher Columbus TICER in 1878.They lived in the Big Flats and Lone Rock areas and had several children, several of whom died there at birth or shortly thereafter between 1879 and 1904.
