    3. Hi, Bernie! I intended to send an S.O.S. last night -- to you and Vera. From "Of Grave Importance," page 82: CUSTER-HERRON CEMETERY SMITH, Addie M., b. 6 January 1869, d. 30 November 1935 Bernie, I had this in my notes -- and originally thought was a SMITH wife -- but this may be your Add "Adder" SMITH, and they called him "Addie" like "Willie" and "Billie" for William. As I don't think you have dates for Add SMITH, it occurred to me this may be him. I thought perhaps Vera may confirm whether this is male or female by Arkansas Death Index (if it goes back that far) or from a newspaper account. You show his wife buried in Fulton County, so this may not be him, but worth a try. Because of budget cuts, they're closing the Vital Statistics office here on Greenwood at Archer on June 30th, and one would have to write to Oklahoma City. If there's someone you need a death certificate for, I could get it for $10 each. If so, send me the particulars. My dad had six sisters and I got all of them a few months ago, so need to get them for his four brothers. The nice thing about being going into this office, it only took about ten minutes. Peggy
