Hi all, Long time no post! Freshly infused with enthusiasm by my trip to Mtn. Home and Norfork 2 weeks ago, I am back on a task I've been chipping away at for nearly 5 years now -- locating the grave sites of my grandparents. I already know they're not listed in any of the available cemetery censuses, but I'm trying to use other mechanisms to figure out where they're buried. Benjamin Edward Vance ~1888 - April 1925 Florence Mildred (Russell) Vance March 1902 - October 1936 My grandfather died in Franklin and was probably buried in Mtn. Home or Lonoke. My grandmother died in a Batesville hospital and almost *certainly* was buried in Mtn. Home, alongside the rest of her Russell family (her parents, her uncle, her grandparents, her sister and brother-in-law) in the Mountain Home Cemetery. My grandfather died out of town and didn't have an obituary in the Baxter Bulletin, more like a passing mention of his death and the circumstances surrounding it. They were living in Lonoke at the time. My grandmother's obituary states that her funeral was held at the Baptist Church in Mtn. Home with no burial details. So finally, to get to the point, does anyone have any record of who the undertakers were in Mountain Home in the 1920's and/or 1930's? If there are any records, I'd really like to find them. Thanks, Larry
