In 1850 He was 43, married to Lucinda, age 35. They had the following children: William, 18; Charity, 16; Dicy, 13;, Newton, 9; Lucinda, 7; Joshua, 5; Melvina or Melvira, 3; John, 2; Eliza 6/12. Also living in the home Ambler Casey age 18 and Rutha age 21. They lived on Big North fork Township in Fulton county in the 1850 census. I am interested in knowing more about his son John. My g-g-grandfather was John Herron. I know nothing else about him except that he supposedly fought in the civil war on the southern side. John's daughter was Francis Leona Herron who married George Washington Horton. Thanks in advance.

Enlisted in Izard Co Arkansas Oct of 1862 , age 29. Blue eyed, fair hair and complexed--5'11'"tall. Paroled at Jackson Port Ark June 5 1865. Death certificate states William's parents were James Green and unknown. William was born in Overton Co Tennessee-mother born in Tennessee. William's date of birth is Sept 20 1828" Only problem here is they didn't state WHEN this William died !! But it sure matches with our William's dates. Also joining Civil War at the same time is John Marion Green with card # 44181530 and is described identical to William. BUT I'm told that this John Marion Green is the Green who married wives Blankenship-Ivie and Williams and whose father was Lewis Green . Now one last thing and I'll quit with William. Don Ott sent me the Daniel Benjamin Anglin family history--Daniel had another child--John Wesley Anglin who married Tennessee Catherine Guinn . They married in Marion Co Ark . Recall the Gunn that was in Annis' family --to me it sure puts these families in close contact with each other . Thoughts

You will find "Mart" and Jessie Watts-Green family history on page 103-104 in History and Familes of Baxter Co. It was written by Mart and Jessie's dau. For Martin Moulder and Mary Elizabeth Green marriage date all I have is @ 1876 BUT my feeling has been that they are the blank Molder age 21 to blank Green age 28 on page 35 of the Early marriages of Baxter Co. The date would be Feb 27 1874 married by John A Cockrum JP. If you take 10 years off her age, it works out to her birth year of 1856. So I assume the age 28 to be a typo.
